Finally...

Well, after 5 long months, I decided not to give up on my blog. I've updated it with 13 new posts, so make sure you click on the "older posts" button to see them all. Since I've neglected my blog for so long, I don't know how many of you still check it, but it links to Facebook, so maybe you can check it out there!

One Last Trip!

As many of you know, Jon is deploying to Afghanistan for 6 months. We decided to hit Orlando before he goes. This time we went to SeaWorld and Wet n' Wild water park. The kids LOVE Orlando and can't seem to get enough of it!

Tyler's Baptism!

Tyler was baptized on June 5. We are so proud of his decision to get baptized and follow our Savior! It was such an awesome, spiritual experience. We had LOTS of family come into town to support him. Tyler loved having his cousins here! I was so grateful that family could come. I want to thank them for helping out with the baptism! We couldn't have pulled it together without you! My amazing friend, Renee, made Tyler's baptism cake and all the desserts at the baptism. She helped me so much and I feel forever indebted to her! Overall, it was a great day!

Enjoying the Gulf!

Memorial Day was Jon and my 10 year anniversary. We celebrated without kids the weekend before. We stayed at a fancy resort in Destin. We went to the Melting pot for dinner. The next day, we lounged by the pool, went golfing, got couples massages and went out to dinner! It was so nice and relaxing. On the actual day of our anniversary, we took the kids to the beach and jet skiing. We decided that we better enjoy our beautiful beaches before the oil came. It is a good thing we did because the oil has officially landed on our beaches now!

Happy Birthday, Tyler!

Tyler turned 8 in May. I made him a figure 8 race track cake! He had a great day birthday and even got a new bike! We took cupcakes to his school on the day of his birthday. They were creepy earth worm cupcakes!

Happy Birthday, Jon!

Jon turned 33 in May! I made him a golf course cake!

My baby boy!

Just some cute pics of my sweet Joey that I couldn't resist posting. These were taken in May. He is 19 months old.

Father/Son Campout

In May, Jon took Tyler on his first Father/Son campout. Tyler had the time of his life and didn't want to come home!

Crazy Hair Day!

Tyler and Lindsay had crazy hair day at school in May.

Lindsay's Dance Recital

Lindsay had her dance recital at the beginning of May! She loves to dance!

April

Not too much happened in April. Joey is now 18 months old. Here's a cute picture of him.

Also, Tyler won 3rd place in his school's science fair. We were pretty proud of him and all the hard work he put into his project!

March

In March, we discovered that we are expecting baby #5 in November. This is basically the main reason why I've been such a slacker with blogging. I was SO sick and tired during the first trimester, that I could barely function!

February

In February, I turned the big 3-0! My friends planned an all day adventure for me. It was seriously one of the best girls days ever! We left around 1pm and didn't get home until after 11pm. My friend, Renee, planned the whole day and emailed the following itinerary to everyone!

Lisa Kay’s 30th Birthday
Sugar to the max/Girl's Day
Saturday, February 20
Okay Ladies, This Saturday we're going to celebrate Lisa's 30th birthday by having an ALL DAY girl bash! It's going to be so packed to the max with fun that we're dividing it up into an afternoon session and an evening session. Lisa really hopes that everyone can make and meet up with us at some point in the day. As everyone knows, this will be Lisa's first time to eat sugar in over a YEAR!! All she wants for her birthday is to have some girl time and to restaurant hop! NO PRESENTS PLEASE!! Renee and Lisa will have cell phones with them if you at any point in the day want to come hang out and get crazy with us -- Moderation is completely out the window for just this one day! We figure if we're doing this, we're going to go all out and do it right. There will be no shame and no regrets. We will be eating until our faces start to melt off. It's going to be absolutely amazing!! Contact Renee with any questions :).
Meet at Lisa’s at 12:45 to carpool OR 1:00 at Waffle House in Shalimar (if you want to carpool please be on time so we can be at the Waffle House on time -- the birthday girl wants to eat promptly at 1 pm.)

January

On January 21, Jon's grandpa, Albert Phelin "Figs" Hanna, died. Jon and I flew to his funeral in Idaho. Grandpa Figs was such a good and kind man. I truly felt honored to know him for the past 10 years.
